On-Site Survey, Incentive Application & Tailored Charging Infrastructure Concept
A professional charging infrastructure concept is a mandatory component of the incentive application. We visit your property, record all relevant characteristics of the existing electrical installation and develop a bespoke concept. We also handle the entire application process on your behalf – so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
The flat-rate fee for the on-site survey, charging concept and incentive application is €690* net, regardless of the number of parking spaces.
*When charging infrastructure is procured through an M3E partner company
Incentive Application Service
Applying for incentive under the “Charging in Multi-Family Homes” programme is complex: three parallel incentive calls, different procurement procedures, strict state aid rules and a tight submission deadline leave no room for error. M3E takes over the complete application service on your behalf.
The application fee is €690 net for 6–10 charging points and €890 net for 11–15 charging points. More charging points available on request.
If you also procure the charging infrastructure through one of our partner companies, the application service is free of charge!

FAQ: Federal Funding for EV Charging in Multi-Family Homes 2026
The most common questions from our clients – answered directly.
Eligible applicants include homeowners’ associations (WEG), housing companies, cooperatives and private owners of multi-family buildings with at least 3 residential units and associated parking spaces. Property managers may also submit applications on behalf of a WEG.
Standard charging points are funded with up to €2,000 per space, fast charging points with up to €3,000. In addition, grid connection costs, upstream cabling and the charging infrastructure concept are partially or fully eligible. The maximum total funding depends on the number of parking spaces and the building type.
The LIK is a mandatory component of every funding application. It documents the technical planning, assesses the grid connection capacity, plans the load management system and specifies how many charging points will be installed and where. Without a professionally prepared LIK, the application is not eligible for incentives.
M3E prepares the LIK as part of the full-service package – professionally, in accordance with standards and tailored to your property.
Yes, combination with other incentive programmes is generally possible – for example with KfW products or state-level schemes – provided the total funding does not exceed the eligible project costs. M3E checks all relevant programmes as part of the incentive review and maximises your incentive amount.
The €500 million is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis – whoever submits a complete and eligible application first receives the funding. We therefore recommend not waiting until close to the 10 November 2026 deadline. Acting now gives you the best possible access to available funds.
Option 1 (on-site survey + LIK + application): flat rate of €690 net. Option 2 (application only): €690 net for 6–10 charging points, €890 net for 11–15 charging points. When charging infrastructure is procured through an M3E partner company, the fee is waived entirely. The initial consultation is always free of charge.
